Tools for Analyzing an iPA-Manager’s Trading Strategy

In order to subscribe to copying of an iPA-Manager’s trading signals whose trading strategy corresponds to your financial interests, you can use special tools for analyzing an iPA-Manager’s trading activity.

Step 1. Log in to “My Account”

Log in to “My Account” section.To do this, in the relevant fields enter your Email or phone number and the password specified during registration on the website. Click on the “Log in” button.

Step 2. Select Page

Go to the “iPA-Managers” section on the “Select an iPA-Manager” page.

On the page that opens, you can view the Long List of iPA-Managers. Then, you should select an iPA-Manager whose trading results you want to analyze, and click on the line containing information on his/her account in the Long List.

Tools for Analyzing an iPA-Manager’s Trading Strategy

“Yield” Index

Yield is an index displaying the total profit of all iPA-Manager’s trading operations for the specified period. This index is published in the Long List of iPA-Managers. Yield of each trade executed on the basis of an iPA-Manager’s trading signals is calculated relative to a nominal amount of 1,000 USD deducting compensation.

“Additional Information”
Trading Period

All statistical data of the “Additional Information” block are calculated for the time period specified opposite the “Trading Period” parameter.

The default value for trading period is 30 days. In order to view the results of an iPA-Manager’s activity for another period, you can change it by selecting one of the suggested values from the drop-down list:

  • 24 hours
  • 72 hours
  • 5 days
  • 10 days
  • 30 days
  • 60 days
  • 90 days

After that, all statistical data will be updated.

Basic Statistical Data
If you click on the “Browse statistics” hyperlink on the page that opens, you can view the table “Basic Statistical Data” containing parameters characterizing an iPA-Manager’s trading activity. These indices are calculated in pips based on the closed transactions according to the selected trading instrument of an iPA-Manager. You can find detailed information in the article Basic Statistical Data.

Account Statement

If you click on the “Download a detailed statement” hyperlink, on the separate tab that opens, you can view an iPA-Manager’s account statement. Using the suggested set of statistical indices, you can analyze in detail an iPA-Manager’s trading results.

Trading Characteristic of an iPA-Manager

The trading characteristic of an iPA-Manager is generated automatically by the system and will help you to determine more accurately the compliance of the iPA-Manager’s strategy with your financial interests. In order to view the trading characteristic of an iPA-Manager, you should click on the relevant hyperlink.

Chart of Trading Operations Distribution
This tool allows you to determine the number of profitable and unprofitable transactions according to the order type (Buy and Sell) for the selected time period. While building the chart, the value defined as a sum of all trading operations executed for this time period is equal to 100%.
Pie Chart
The pie chart shows distribution of transactions according to the types of trading in percentage terms of the total volume of transactions of an iPA-Manager account (on each trading instrument separately) for the selected time period.
There are the following types of trading:
  • Manual — trading operations are executed by an iPA-Manager manually without using the automated trading strategies and the iPA technology algorithms.
  • Automated — trading operations are executed using automated trading strategies. In such a case, trading signals are not processed by the iPA technology algorithms.
  • Processed — trading operations are executed manually or using automated trading strategies, in such a case, trading signals are processed by the iPA technology algorithms.

The pie chart will be divided into sections containing relevant types of trading depending on the type of trading orders of an iPA-Manager account (Original or Processed):

Chart of Trading Activity

Trading activity is displayed in the cardiogram chart. The x-axis shows 18 intervals of the selected time period. The y-axis shows the number of the opened transactions for each interval.

This chart shows the number of the opened transactions on an iPA-Manager account for each of the 18 intervals of the selected trading period.

Traderank Chart

The chart shows a change in the total average value of the Traderank parameter for an iPA-Manager’s trading instrument over the last 90 trading days. Each column of the chart is equal to one trading day. The column height is equal to the value of the Traderank index recorded at the end of a trading day.

The color display of the chart is changed depending on the trading period you have chosen:

  • Trading days included in the selected period are marked with blue color.
  • Trading days, which are not included in the selected period, are marked with grey color.
Profit Chart

The profit chart contains three charts generated for the selected trading period.

Accumulative

The chart provides the history of change in profit of an iPA-Manager account for the selected time period (positive and negative values are recorded in pips):

  • the y-axis shows profit value at the closing time of the transaction for each trading instrument of an iPA-Manager account;
  • the x-axis shows the reference number of a transaction.
Equity

The chart provides the history of change in the equity maximum drawdown in pips for an iPA-Manager account for the selected time period:

  • y-axis shows value of the equity maximum drawdown in pips from the closing time of the previous transaction till the current closing time of the transaction for the trading instrument of an iPA-Manager account;
  • x-axis shows the reference number of a transaction.
Maximum
It is a chart, which connects two endpoints on the “Accumulative” chart.
