How to Use “Buy” and “Sell” Buttons

You can enable and disable copying of trading orders to the iPA-Investor account by using the “Buy” and “Sell” buttons.

Let us consider the examples of how to manage the iPA-Investor account based on the analysis of the quotes history chart, which can be built in iPro Marketplace trading and analytical platform.

Let us suppose that an iPA-Investor selected the iPA-Manager account where trading operations on the EUR/USD trading instrument are executed.

Example 1. Management Peculiarities in an Uptrend

The analysis of the quotes history chart at H4 Time Frame shows that there has been a strong uptrend recently. Based on the long‑term economic indices of the Eurozone, there are good reasons to expect the euro strength.

Then, we should analyze an iPA-Manager’s trading strategy by using a chart at M15 Time Frame. An example of the chart is shown in the figure.

If an iPA-Investor copies two types of an iPA-Manager’s trading orders (Buy and Sell) to his/her account, he/she simultaneously views the profit chart containing relevant drawdowns and heights.

The analysis of the quotes history chart and the profit chart shows that the execution of Sell trading orders produces negative results with the overall tendency towards an uptrend, thus, you had better suspend copying of Sell trading orders.

To do this, you should click on the “Sell” button.

If an iPA-Investor stops copying Sell trading orders to his/her account during a long-term uptrend, he/she will be able to avoid transactions with a negative profit executed by an iPA-Manager, which will be displayed in the profit chart.

Example 2. Management Peculiarities in a Downtrend

The analysis of the quotes history chart at H4 Time Frame shows that there has been a strong downtrend recently. Based on the long‑term economic indices of the Eurozone, we can expect the euro decline.

Then, we should analyze an iPA-Manager’s trading strategy by using a chart at M15 Time Frame. The example of the chart is shown in the figure.

If an iPA-Investor copies two types of an iPA-Manager’s trading orders (Buy and Sell) to his/her account, he/she simultaneously views the profit chart containing relevant drawdowns and heights.

The analysis of the quotes history chart and the profit chart shows that the execution of Buy trading orders produces negative results with the overall tendency towards a downtrend, thus, you had better suspend copying of Sell trading orders.

To do this, you should click on the “Buy” button.

If an iPA-Investor stops copying Sell trading orders to his/her account during a long-term uptrend, he/she will be able to avoid transactions with a negative profit executed by an iPA-Manager, which will be displayed in the profit chart.

How to Use “Stop” and “Proceed” Buttons

The “Stop” and “Proceed” buttons as well as the “Sell” and “Buy” buttons are interchangeable and determine the status of each other.

If the “Stop” button is available, it means that at least one type of trading orders (Sell and Buy) is copied to your account. You can completely stop copying of trading orders to the iPA-Investor account by clicking on this button.

When you click on the “Stop” button, you should confirm your actions in the window that opens, as a result, copying of trading orders to your account will be stopped. The “Stop” button will be replaced by the “Proceed” button.

In order to resume copying trading orders to your account, you should click on the “Proceed” button. As soon as you confirm your actions, copying of Sell and Buy trading orders will be resumed in the window that opens, and the “Sell” and “Buy” buttons will be available again.

If you wish to resume copying only “Sell” or “Buy” trading orders, you should click on the relevant button.

How to Use “Exclude”, “Withdraw” and “Add Funds” Buttons

You can add funds to your iPA-Investor account or allocate additional funds under management by using the “Add Funds” button. If necessary, follow the recommendations given in the article How to Add Funds to Your iPA-Investor Account.

If copying of trading orders is stopped in this account and the “Withdraw” button is available, you can partially or fully withdraw funds from your account. You can find detailed information in the article How to Withdraw Funds from Your iPA-Investor Account.

You should click on the “Exclude” button in order to exclude an iPA-Manager from the Portfolio and close the iPA-Investor account. You can find step‑by‑step instructions in the article How to Exclude an iPA-Manager from the Portfolio.
