How can the volume of a position being opened (in lots) change when changing the leverage?

The trading volume is determined on the basis of the leverage calculated based on the total amount of funds managed by an iPA-Manager.

Example 1: The amount of funds managed by an iPA-Manager on the EURUSD currency pair constitutes 400 USD. Consequently, the current leverage size in the iPA-Investor account subscribed to copying of this Manager’s trading signals equals 1:50.

Therefore, the volume of closed positions will be ≈ 0.1 lot.

Example 2: The amount of funds managed by an iPA-Manager on the EURUSD currency pair constitutes 5,000 USD. Consequently, the current leverage size in the iPA-Investor account subscribed to copying of this Manager’s trading signals equals 1:50.

Therefore, the volume of closed positions will be ≈ 1.25 lot.

Example 3: The amount of funds managed by an iPA-Manager on the EURUSD currency pair constitutes 600 USD. Consequently, the current leverage size in the iPA-Investor account subscribed to copying of this Manager’s trading signals equals 1:50.

Therefore, the volume of closed positions will be ≈ 0.15 lot.
